1. Employment Contract and Communication to Social Security<\/h3>\n

It is essential that the employment contract contains detailed information such as the identification of the employer and the employee, the duration of the service, the tasks to be performed, the place of work, the amount of remuneration and the rules for time off and vacations. The salary can be agreed upon by the hour, day, week, or month. Employers must officially notify Social Security of the admission of the domestic worker up to 15 days before the start of the service. This communication can be made in person, by email or via Social Security Direct.
